Zion German Evangelical Lutheran Church

The Zion German Evangelist-Lutheran Church at 125-131 Henry Street between Clark and Pierrepont Streets in the Brooklyn Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, was built in 1840 as the Second Reformed Dutch Church, but by 1851 had become a dance hall. The ZGELC congregation has been in existence since 1855 and bought the church building in 1856 for $14,500. It is located within the Brooklyn Heights Historic District.
