Snells Bush Church and Cemetery

The first church was built in this location in 1755 and burned during the Revolution. In 1792, the second church was built and then, the community decided they wanted a fancier church. So they built this church around 1850 in the Greek Revival style, the church is sixty by forty feet long, the church is registered on the National & State Historic Site. At the present time there are efforts to save this Historic Church from becoming a history. The repairs would cost more than $100,000, and the community hopes to raise funds to keep the church intact.
