Castles of Munster: Moorstown, Tipperary Perched on a rock base east of Cahir stands this circular tower, an imposing sight with its roofless gables and corbelled out parapet supporting a large circular machicolation. The Keatings forfeited Moorstown in the 1650s and it was then granted to the Greens.
