St. Mary the Virgin church, Lindsell, Essex. This church stands in a very pleasant setting close to Lindsell Hall. The tower is in an unusual position, at the south-west end. The nave dates back to Norman times and the tower was added in the 16th century. The fabric of the church is pleasantly dressed with brick and looks lovely in the sunshine.
