Kloster Friedland

Refectory and church. The Kloster Friedland is a former Cistercian Nunnery in Altfriedland, a village of the municipality Neuhardenberg in the District Märkisch-Oderland, Brandenburg, Germany. The exact date of it's foundation being unknown. It was established not earlier than 1230 and at he latest in 1271. In 1540 it was disestablished and modified and extended into a representative estate. Of the monastery-buildings have been preserved remains of a cloister and of the refectory as well as the Klosterkirche Altfriedland, the several times remodelled early gothic-Fieldstone church. All these buildings are listed.
