Cow Castle hill fort and Shaw Hill Well preserved ramparts and ditches at Cow Castle hill fort. The unplanted area on Shaw Hill opposite has a series of horizontal cultivation terraces, and the 1:25,000 map shows another area of terraces at the W end of the hill.
