St Mary's church. St Mary's church dates from the 13th century with the tower added in the 14th century. Chancel and nave are separated by a wooden chancel arch > 1370919 with open fretwork in the spandrels. On the south chancel wall there is a large C17 monument to John Herne > 1370927. The benches are modern but old carved poppy-headed bench ends have been incorporated into some of them. This church is kept locked - a key is available from nearby.
