Centre Congregational Church

The Centre Congregational Church on Main Street in Brattleboro, Vermont, was originally built in 1816 on the town Common, but then taken apart and moved to its current location in 1842. The current steeple replaced one destroyed in a storm in 1864, while the tower's clock was originally the town clock, which was added to the new steeple in 1864. The building is located within the Brattleboro Downtown Historic District. (Source: "The Visitor's Guide to Brattleboro and the Vibrant Villages of Southern Vermont" (2010))
